User-definable mesh offsets. That’s how I’d roll.
Not only would that allow players to mitigate geometry conflicts, but it would also open up a whole new dimension of customization for players to express themselves. Warframe is starting to get into something along the lines of what you mentioned for instance:
You can get some wacky results, but that’s mostly just due to constraints being very lenient. It’d be pretty neat to see someone walking around on ROBLOX with a tilted tophat propped up by a smaller hat like a visor instead of all of them just clipping together.
Maybe, you could have this as a separate idea thread? Or shall I post it? I don’t really mind though.
