This was delayed due to the redesign and a few bugs we ran into when testing this. Currently just waiting on the bug fixes to reach all mobile devices before we can get this turned on!

Is it possible to make an option for selecting which top bar to use for a game ? (maybe temporary in the game settings). this would probably help devs for redesigning the gui, while their games are using the old one.

As with all of the core gui changes (past and present), this isn’t (and likely won’t) be an option.

Roblox doesn’t have the resources to keep maintaining old versions of the core gui; it’s just a waste of resources and slows down development of new features.

It’ll take some getting used to; but most people will have adjusted to the new topbar in a few months.

These platforms are updated more quickly than mobile devices so are already updated.

I know that new features are handed out to random players because of the a/b system, but as long as ive been on roblox, ive played 90% of the time on mobile and now play 10% on pc. Because of that and,

does this make me more out of the a/b testing list or get the new features later after the other platforms get it?

Why is my Roblox is still on old in-game menu? I updated it to the latest version yesterday. How can I get the new in-game menu into my Roblox Game Client?

It seems that they’ve only rolled it out to some users.

Personally, I think this is a test they’re doing as Gamer101 said the update got delayed and is not out yet.

Interestingly, on my mid-2015 MacBook Pro, I have the new top bar, while my main custom-built desktop doesn’t.

The new top bar is currently in A/B testing. It is rolled out at random to users and has nothing to do with your Roblox client version, hardware, or anything else.

I don’t think disabling topbartransparency is a good idea, I use it so that my loading screen covers the whole screen instead of having a clear bar on it.

I believe it’s a step in the right direction with all the modernization roblox has been doing on its platform(cheez it logo, premium, robux icon). As many have said before, the scaling seems to be a bit off but from what I read, there has been a redesign, so I’m happy to see it getting touched up.

Can’t wait to see the final product!
