Last week, I have been working on a new realistic game with a very high graphics.
In my opinion, I find this game very nice. So basically, I’m going to show you some pictures, so you can give me a feedback!
Please answer these three questions in your comment. (Not necessary, but at least answer one of my questions).
Please play the game before you feedback and also, just to tell you this is a showcase game.
1- What should I add to this game? [Where]
2- Does the game have a good looking? [Reason]
3- If there is anything else you like to say, please say it! [About the game]
NOTE: This game is NOT finished and it’s currently available for friends. So, I decided for making this game to public for a MONTH. So, you can test it.

The scenery and everything looks super good, roblox developing is getting better developers with graphics skill some people haven’t seen and a new reality of a different world is awesome to just escape to and relax. Overall it looks great, I might want to hire you, keep up the good work!
I am wondering what the game’s purpose will be for.
The only critique I have is to possibly add some foliage to fill in the plains. However, with the title “The Grass” I assume this might be mainly plains. Cool though man.
Considering you never once mentioned what the game is about in your post (other than “it has realistic graphics”), it would be quite difficult to say what the game is missing.
That being said, here’s my opinion on the pictures you posted:
While they do look nice, they’re incredibly basic. It looks like you generated some terrain with the default generator, added some basic structures here and there, and then tweaked the lighting a bit and added some post-processing effects. The map lacks variety and purpose and it just seems to exist for no real reason.
Whatever this game is going to be, it clearly looks to be very early in development. I would hold off on asking for feedback until you have a more finished product.
I really appreciate and support the game you are creating!
The graphics are so realistic sometimes too realistic that playing the game itself is relaxing. I actually appreciate the view you made in this game.
The scenery looks like paradise which I may say that may relieve stress for other users who will play the game.
Remarkable! Spectacular! Keep up the great work!
@goldencowboy The bucket, the chair and the fishing rod are free models, but the dock I created it by myself. Same thing as the map and the decoration with extra lighting are by myself too. Also, if you are asking why I put free models, it’s because, I’m not a modeler.
@AlausSamus Thank you for supporting! Can you explain more in details? However, if the title isn’t really good, please recommend me one, it would really help me. Thanks!
Overall I did not find this particularly impressive at all. You’ll get better over time, but for right now, there are a lot of things you need to work on to make a grand showcase.
Here are some points of criticisms I had about your build:
The area is desolate. Terrain grass by itself isn’t enough to make your game seem alive. Add trees or some sort of vegetation to make your map look incredible.
Lighting is also off. Shadows are too blue and too dark. Use EnvironmentSpecularScale and EnvironmentDiffuseScale for better results.
Your terrain ends abruptly. Try creating terrain outside of the playable area to make your world bigger. Making your map seem bigger than it is will go a long way to immerse visitors in your world.
You just said “GO GENERATE” and pressed the generate terrain button. I would recommend recreating your terrain by hand to make it less boring. If you aren’t good with terrain tools, then I’d recommend practicing terrain creation or taking note of other people’s work.
The dock looks like something out of Minecraft and doesn’t fit in with the rest of the map. I would recommend practicing and looking at what other people have done to get a better idea of how to build.
If my criticisms didn’t help, then I apologize. I’ll try and learn how to give better criticism in the future.
And if I sounded too harsh, then I apologize for that too.
I love the look of this game! Glad you’re using the advanced graphics for this project! I’m feeling like this could be a potential story survival game based on an island of some sort? (BTW I don’t mean all the generic story games, I’m talking about a legit game). I don’t know why but every picture in this post gives me hella nostalgic vibes, I love it so much, great job Zexson!
Is it a game? If so, try to add more “playable” characteristics, like a reason to play it. If not, it should moreover be called a Showcase, as many others have. If you look close enough you can see the chair is floating. Is this witchcraft? Try to fix that
