Your game looks pretty nice, the lighting and terrain properties are set very well like the water adjustment, but it need a path or some trees ( not necessary ) and try also to smooth you terrain. But the game is just amazing it is very relaxing.
@ArchitectingGuy Thank you for your nice feedback! You might wonder why the terrain wasn’t smoothed, it’s because I published the wrong version by accident, but it’s okay, I’m going to fix it. Also, the path is the terrain itself and I’m not really sure if I want to add trees, because it might not fit in the game. Well, maybe I’ll add it.
Thanks!
The trees are not that much necessary, its very good.
what i was saying is that the day/night cycle in general just looks weird to me. i’d suggest removing it all together and just have the game be day or night all the time
@inkwaves Please answer this questions:
- What do you mean by day/night cycle is “weird”?
- Does it need improvements?
- Why do you want to remove it?
- What are the right goals of it to be removed? If it looks realistic in real life.
- Why do you feel weird about it?
- If it fits in the game, why should it be removed? Does it annoy?
Psst…By the way, In the first two updates there was day only and it was nice.
Anyways, I might do a poll about it.
Thanks!
@Sayfside Hey, please try to read the topic carefully before you post anything about it.
You may didn’t notice what I wrote here.

Try to avoid this things next time since it’s already wrote in the topic.
Thank you for your patience!
- What do you mean by day/night cycle is “weird”?
the daylight cycle is very choppy and displeasing to look at. - Does it need improvements?
i would advise just removing it. - Why do you want to remove it?
it’s choppy and really doesn’t add anything special to the game. its hurting more than it helps. - What are the right goals of it to be removed? If it looks realistic in real life.
i understand you’re going for realism, but it’s more realistic to have a game with consistent lighting than to have a one with a choppy day/night cycle. - Why do you feel weird about it?
as stated previously, it just looks very choppy/ - If it fits in the game, why should it be removed? Does it annoy?
it was a bit annoying to me.
@inkwaves As I can see, it looks like you like the day cycle more than the day/night cycle. In my opinion, I like both at the same time, like I mean the day is good and the day/night cycle is good too. I’m not saying that your wrong, it’s a really good idea, because I used to like the day cycle with the sun from the first two updates. As of now, I am not really sure if I want to remove the day/night cycle, because it depends, maybe some people like it or not. So, I’m going to do a poll.
Thank you for your feedback!
I’m doing a vote about if you want to remove the day cycle or the day/night cycle. Please vote, it will be closed in 4/20/2020.
- I want day/night cycle to stay in the game. (Recommended).
- I want day cycle to be added to the game. (Like the pictures).

Please note that voting for the day cycle may change the graphics of the game and make it worse. I would recommend you to vote for day/night cycle. (Only if you want).
In my opinion the game looks nice and all but the premise and building itself is very basic. Lighting tutorials are common and you can just generate terrain to get it to the state in your build, and the construction is really basic in relations to “realistic” building, for reference the pier structure looks like it’s made of roughly 20-30 parts.
As well as this it seems very empty and I’m unsure what a game in such a featureless environment would entail. I won’t get into this now because I’m sure you have lots to add as it’s still in development but at this current point that’s my outlook on the game.
@Lolaphobia Thank you for your feedback! As you said, the world is almost empty. This game is still in early developement and more updates will come at least one time per week. Also, in summer the game will be finished. I agree that that you said the game is still isn’t complete, but this game looks very well with the graphics. The only thing that I have to fix is to make the world better with more things. The world is almost empty, because I focused a lot on tweaking the graphics with some strong sun reflections. Maybe, the next update I am going to add more things to fill up the map, I am not going to add everything in a single update, but update after update, it will get better.
Thanks!
it looks really good great job but i don’t think this realistic bc you used bricks if i was you i would use meshes meshes has more details then part/bricks
you should also improve on the lighting bc when you make a realistic game this all about the light
also i would not recommend to use terrain if you are looking for some hyper realistic i would make the landscape out of meshes and use realistic textures
i have a tutorial about how to make realistic games on roblox and i think it will help you improve if you read it https://the-newscast.com/2020/04/06/a-tutorial-about-realistic-game-design-on-roblox-platform/
if i was you i would wait making a showcases to i had my skills ready
The game looks great! I like the layout of the terrains, but “The grass” sounds really dull, you should change the name. Anyway, keep developing this game, I can’t wait.
Whoa, this game seems really high quality. Just wondering what the purpose of the game. Is it a showcase or something else? But overall looks amazing!
I just can’t believe my eyes… Can u pls show how u did it???
you can maybe see mine too and give me a small job:
here is the link
I’ve made a new update which isn’t listed above due to small fixes and things like that. So, I added a realistic looking atmosphere, and edited more terrain to fix all broken parts of it and make it have an amazing look! Feel free to check out my game!
I ain’t really working anymore on the game, I will only make updates unless roblox releases new things to lighting or if there are things to fix in my game.
