Definition of Crimes
Citation Only Offenses
Traffic Related Offenses - any breach of normal driving expectations such as running a stop sign, reckless driving, or repeated crashing.
Threatening Harm of Another Person - this applies when the person making the threat is not in possession of a deadly weapon capable of carrying out the threat.
Minor Offenses
Threatening Harm of Another Person (5mins) - this applies if the person making the threat possesses a deadly weapon capable of carrying out the threat and the threat is directed towards a Civilian or Visitor.
Threatening Harm of Another Person (7mins) - this applies if the person making the threat possesses a deadly weapon capable of carrying out the threat and the threat is directed towards a member of the NRIC Main Division.
Grand Theft Auto (5mins) - applies if the vehicle stolen belongs to a Civilian of Visitor.
Evading Arrest (5mins) - applies if the offender flees from law enforcement on foot.
Trespassing (5mins) - illegally entering property owned by the Town of Riverside or a private citizen. Can also be rectified with a 1,000 credit fine in place of prison time.
*This can also apply for breaching divisional/departmental buildings for NRIC/Riverside.
Trespassing (7mins) - illegally entering property owned by NRIC. Can also be rectified with a 1,000 credit fine in place of prison time.
*This offence is primarily trespassing checkpoint, or radio towers owned by NRIC.
Making False Statements to Law Enforcement (5mins) - lying about or misrepresenting any information provided to a law enforcement entity of NRIC or the Town of Riverside.
Failure to comply with Law Enforcement (5min) - failure to follow any lawful order given to you by a law enforcement officer.
Attempted Robbery (5mins) - attempting to rob the Bank of Riverside. This applies if the person was caught in the act and was unable to complete the robbery.
Illegitimate Use of Force (5-10mins) - the unlawful use of force, deadly or not, against another individual by a member of law enforcement or the NRIC Main Division.
Major Offenses
Obstruction of Official Duties (5-60mins) - obstructing the duties of any law enforcement entity of NRIC or the Town of Riverside.
*This also applies for special forces units conducting missions, however they are not deemed Law Enforcement thus it must be specified.
Attempted Murder of an Innocent/Conspiracy (10mins) - attempting to kill an innocent person with any deadly weapon.
Threatening Harm of Another Person (10mins) - this applies if the person making the threat possesses a deadly weapon capable of carrying out the threat and the threat is directed towards a member of a law enforcement entity of NRIC or the Town of Riverside.
Abuse of Given Powers (10mins) - the unlawful use of team kill weaponry. This punishment will apply in addition to any punishments rendered for Murder, Attempted Murder, or Illegitimate Use of Force.
Grant Theft Auto (10mins) - applies if the vehicle stolen belongs to the NRIC Main Division or a non-law enforcement division.
Evading Arrest (10mins) - applies if the offender flees from law enforcement in a vehicle.
Aiding and Abetting (10min) - applies if the offender is aiding a criminal in any way however the offender must be aware of what they are doing and be of free will for the charge to apply.
Trespassing (10mins) - illegal entrance into an area controlled by the NRIC ComB or the NRIC Correctional Facility.
Possession of Black Market Materials (10mins) - applies if the item possessed is an edged or projectile weapon (gun or knife).
Possession of Black Market Vehicle (15mins) - applies if the item possessed is a vehicle deemed as black market.
Robbery (10-15mins) - breaking and entering into the Bank of Riverside with the intention to remove valuables from said location.
Attempted Criminal Escape (10mins) - applies to any offender who attempts to escape from the Riverside Jail, NRIC Military Prison, a prisoner transport vehicle, or any cell belonging to the Riverside Marshal Service, ComB Battalion, or Special Operations Command. This punishment is to be added to any other applicable punishments that the offender was originally arrested/detained.
Felony Offenses
Murder of an Innocent (15-20mins) - the killing of any person deemed innocent.
Threatening Harm of Another Person (25mins) - this applies if the person making the threat possesses a deadly weapon capable of carrying out the threat and the threat is directed towards the Commander of NRIC.
Grand Theft Auto (15mins) - the illegal taking of any vehicle belonging to a law enforcement entity of NRIC or the Town of Riverside.
Possession of Black Market Materials (20mins) - applies if the item possessed is an explosive device deemed as black market.
Breaching Base (15) - breaking into the headquarters in anyway.
*This can also apply if the offender is assaulting personnel who are inside the base in a way that does not actually require them to break into the base, such as sniping or launching rockets of any kind into the base from an outside area.
Criminal Escape (20mins) - applies to any offender who escapes from the Riverside Jail, NRIC Military Prison, a prisoner transport vehicle, or any cell belonging to the Riverside Marshal Service, ComB Battalion, or Special Operations Command. This punishment is to be added to any other applicable punishments that the offender was originally arrested/detained.
Capitol Offenses
Murder of the Commander (40mins) - the killing of the Commander of NRIC. {Advise to Contact local ComB Agent.}
Attempted Murder of the Commander (20mins) - attempting to kill the Commander of NRIC.
Absent Without Leave (45) - absent often without notice or permission/missing in action.
Treason (90mins) - intentionally betraying Infantry by levying war against the Infantry, giving aid or comfort to its enemies, or Defecting against The Infantry.
Additional information
- Charges are subject to wording changed based on arresting officer.
- Felony and Capitol stand regardless of team while Minor and Major charges remain based on your team. (This means you can not be charged for a crime you did as a Civilian on NRIC Team unless it’s Felony or Capitol)
- ComB are not require to follow the above regulations as they have their own that are deemed classified. (You may speak to Operations Director if you have complaint or issue against a ComB Arrest.)
- All Arrest are logged on Headquarters databases and External locations for security purposes.
- Regardless of rank once you’ve been arrested your authority is neutralized.
- Any Investigation Services (ComB, IA, MP CID) has the right to Detain you and neutralized your authority.

Additional Definitions
NRIC Main Division - Any member of NRIC who is not actively engaging in law enforcement activities.
Civilian - Any member of Riverside who is not actively engaging in law enforcement activities.
Visitor - Any person at NRIC:HQ who is not a part or NRIC, an allied group, or the Town of Riverside.
