When personnel are at the same rank and are unsure of who is higher, follow this Chain of Command.

List of Divisions: (1 being the highest, 9 being the lowest):

  2. Command Staff
  3. Com.B (Com.B is higher than a “Command Staff” if that “Command Staff” holds the same “Command Staff Rank” as the Com.B member).
  4. Military Police
  5. Special Operations Command/Rangers/Marines
  6. Air Force
  7. Medics
  8. Department of Corrections
  9. Military Emergency Services Communication Network (MESCOM)

If a division was not listed, it’s not on the chain of command which mean it has no authority over you. (Outside of its jurisdiction).

Examples:

Private = Private

Sergeant Major > Staff Sergeant

First Lieutenant in Military Police > First Lieutenant

Major in Air Force > Major in Medics

General > Colonel in Com.B

Note: This is subjected to change in the future as NRIC develops. You MAY have questions on this on your examination test.
