I sadly do not have reproduction steps, but I think it is worth reporting anyway as it’s extremely annoying and seems to happen fairly frequently for me. Maybe others also experiencing this figure out more details over time…
When selecting text in the editor (it happened when double-clicking a word to select it, but also when releasing the mouse while dragging for selection, probably any selection change), Studio has “some chance” to lock up. This started happening today. Every time it has happened so far, the new search dialog was open and a query was entered.
Studio then has no CPU usage at all and no memory usage, Windows simply claims all windows of Studio are “not responsing”. (the main window, the little new persistent find window and the Ctrl+Shift+F find results)
The script I was editing has over 4600 lines (item definitions), which may or may not be related…
