Whenever you select an experience, account, or community on the left-side dropdown menu, there is a dark blue text label that keeps changing into random letters and numbers.
This is likely some mis-formatted string in the Beta UI slated for release next month. Some of these symbols don’t even match the English alphabet. So either I’m picking up foreign transmissions, or else these characters are truly generated at random.
Expected behavior
It should be displaying the name of the player or Group that owns those assets.
Hi @XenoSynthesis, do you have the next gen studio beta enabled? We’ve seen similar text bugs with both betas enabled. We released a fix for this in the latest Studio update, so let us know if you’re still seeing it after updating.
Yes, I have been using the Next Gen Studio Beta. But the random text problem went away today. Only lingering issue is I cannot find the “Insert Model From File” button anywhere. Most of my work from the past 17 years is saved as .rbxm files, and I currently have to drag and drop them from my documents folders into Studio’s workspace.
For the “Insert Model From File” button, could you clarify if this was in the old asset manager, or is this a new feature you’d like to see? I believe the only way to insert .rbxm files is through the Explorer right now.
I found this plugin by adding a custom tab, right clicking empty space in the toolbar > Add Tools > Search “Insert from File” > Check the box to make it show up.
