I have inserted a Roblox rig using the blender addon and rebuilt the rig, as shown below.
Currently, in Pose Mode, if I move the LowerTorso, the entire rig will move with it. My suspicion is that it’s because all the bones are parented to LowerTorso, but I assume if I unparent everything, the animation won’t export correctly. (Please let me know if I am wrong!)
I am looking to achieve the kind of posing behavior in the gif below, where the torso can be moved, but the legs move with it and the feet stay planted in place.
As I mentioned in the title, I’m pretty new to Blender animating, so I don’t know much about IK constraints or anything like that. I would greatly appreciate if someone could provide detail on how to achieve this behavior I’m looking for.
