NEW VISUAL SCRIPTING PLUGIN | BlockLua Devlog 2

Introduction

Hello everyone!
Recently I started making a new visual scripting plugin and it is doing great so far!
It is very similar to my current plugin EventBlocks . It has the same style of scripting (like Scratch does).

Progress have been made

So, I have made a lot of progress since the last devlog.

New blocks, new looks

First of all, “if” blocks and new look for “event” blocks, also new colors:

I’ve also added these blocks to the plugin:

“Block variables” for some events

Some blocks now include a variable you can drag out from them.

(yes, the “part” input of the event is empty because there’s nothing to put in it yet.)

(a very long block lol)

Bigger editor window

Literally, I’ve just made the window larger.

It now translates to lua!

Finally managed to finish the translator and now it generates readable lua code.

Example:
This piece of script translates to…

(don’t ask why it’s in a function I just did it like that)

Are you interested?

Please tell me in the replies if you want to be @tagged in the upcoming devlogs!
(You will get a notification when it comes out if you are tagged)

When will this release?

I can’t give you an exact date. Probably at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year. It may not even come out if I lose motivation or not enough people are interested.

This is actually sick!
Reminds me of when I used to first code using scratch!
Thank you for the nostalgia, and keep up the amazing work!
