i was working on a warehouse map and was experimenting with textures and “my” style of building and some cool terrain tests… How does this look? OP_MAP_WARHOUSE - Roblox
The warehouse is absolutely amazing. I love the detail inside. I would suggest that you add some work lights inside though, instead of using a torch/flashlight. I would also add an electrical box inside the warehouse too. A forklift is a great addition I think you should add too. Maybe use a different texture for the walls though, as it looks like wallpaper that would go in a house. I’m not very fond of the colour choice you used for the walls as well.
Terrain
I feel that you should improve on your terrain more. I would add more detail and change the slate colour to a lighter grey. Also planting some trees and some flower and bushes on the top would look amazing.
That’s all the advice I have for now.
Hope this helps!
Warehouse
The warehouse itself looks phenomenal. The detail on the exterior walls, and the interior details pull the build together and give it a nice look; though I will say it might be good to make it a lot more crowded on the interior as a real warehouse might be.
Terrain
The rock formation itself looks amazing, but the grass looks odd and out of place. It has a strange looking “flatness” to it. I would suggest adding either slight height variations to it, or adding decorative things like flowers, trees, and other stuff like that.
Overall
Overall the builds are really well put together, and wouldn’t look out of place in either of their respective settings, so great job.
Thanks i was just messin with the terrain trying to make something cool. Do you think with this quality I could do commisions. I see alot of groups and people who want “professional” builders but I just don’t know if my Building skill would be good enough. And I have a lack of things to put on a portfolio anyways. Also the warehouse is not finished and it will be for my tactical fps game.
I guess it depends on the style of build the game developers want, you definitely have the skill to do commissions but there is always room for improvement.
Thanks I’ll look forward to those ahead, I don’t really know what I should charge though. I was thinking hours or something like that and the quality/how proud I am of it would raise the price or lower it after I’ve analysed the hours.
You should have a set amount you require, like, 500-1000, that increases based on the amount of work you put in and the quality of the end result.
Ill definitely think about that one!
Amazing, I love the amount of details you have.
If you want me to build for you I can for free. I just need scripting. Ill link my discord if you want.
Thank you, can you believe this is one of my first complete builds! I’ve been in studio since 2015 and touched the build tools a little bit but i never really sought out to make something. I do 3dmodeling and help my stepmother with carpentry and building related things (blueprint making) so I have some sort of a architectural background.
What do I like about your build?
Let me start about the terrain bit, I think that is a nice bit of terrain you got there, and the rocks/boulders on the side are nice, as well as the grass. Not much to say about the terrain here.
But about the warehouse, I’ll start with the outside. The outside is very nice, I like the exterior walls that you have going on there. The inside is great, a lot off things you have added there, the boxes are very nice, some of the meshes are like too. It has a very nice abandoned type of theme. You have like a shelf that is fallen over. Also, the gate on the front of the warehouse is nice. So nice work on the warehouse.
What could you improve/add?
I’ll start in the warehouse outside. There could be more lights on the outside. About the inside, I noticed when I went into your game is that there is a part where I saw nothing, it was more of an empty side of the warehouse.
So in that part, you could add some more things, maybe a vehicle or something secret. So that is all about the warehouse, I don’t have much to say about the terrain. So that is all for the feedback.
