In the past few hours, a game-breaking vulnerability has been discovered in the bundle validation system by the owners of a UGC exploit Discord server. They’ve found a way to make certain parts of bundles appear extremely large, effectively acting as skyboxes and completely breaking games. This exploit requires no combinations of items to work — simply equipping the bundle is enough to reproduce the issue and disrupt any game environment. A video demonstrating the exploit is attached below:
This issue is becoming extremely widespread, with many recently uploaded bundles already taking advantage of the exploit. These bundles are easily identifiable, as the massive skybox-like effect can be seen directly in the 2D thumbnails of affected bundles:
In the private PM attached to this report, I’ve provided a list of violating bundles that exploit this vulnerability.
This method is being actively promoted in an infamous Discord server known for UGC-related exploits, which highlights how quickly it’s spreading and the urgency of an immediate patch.
I’d appreciate a swift response to this bug report, as this poses a severe threat to gameplay integrity across Roblox experiences and is already being abused by malicious actors to break games at scale.
Tried to make a safe use of this bug (not for oversized items or such, but something innovative for UGC marketplace, but still follows Roblox ToS and UGC Guildlines) , made animated bundle for this, special assests, with an idea to make animated UGC Accessories possible, but at the end I’ve came to a crucial problem, where Roblox disabled a feature that were needed to make animated items come true…
Honestly im massively disappointed, if theres a way to talk about it to bring back the ability to disable auto-skinning for layered clothing, im all in. If not, then i would’ve like to hear a reason why it was disabled at the first place.
I know some game breaking bugs for UGC that could significantly impact the performance of the players in-game.
If the ability to disable auto-skinning in Wraptarget object (for layered clothing) would be possible again, or atleast a reasonable reason for this would be given, then I’ll share the bug i mentioned above.
Im sorry to do this, but ive thought i could make first animated UGC items, and didnt thought Roblox disabled a crucial feature that could’ve made animated items possible.
It is, the bug you mentioned gives you ability to manipulate bones as you want, leading to big item, in my case its literally the same, except the main goal is not to make big items, but animated items by combining both Layered clothing (mesh) and dynamic heads (bones and animation)
From your perspective it may be another bug, but in reality it is the same.
Ill send video in a bit showing you.
I don’t think a patch for this vulnerability has even been released yet. Please stop using my report to comment on unrelated matters, you’re not contributing anything.
I am talking about mixing 2 bugs into one unique UGC (UGC Handled Layered clothing and Big Bundle glitch this post is about) , NOT A SINGLE BUG OR SOMETHING UNRELATED
I did talk about using this bug in a good way, as you can see ive sent example of the bug you reported for animating stuff (validation errors in this example are due to mesh size, because wings are a part of torso)
I am for sure sorry for my bad English, but if im saying that this uses this glitch from the post, means it uses the glitch from the post, just in a different way no one have seen.
