If you pressed “L” on your keyboard, it would select the “LevelGui” object in the old explorer. However, this functionality is missing in the Next Gen Explorer.
Little hotkeys/shortcuts like these should be ported over to Next Gen Explorer since these aggregate toward a more productive Explorer.
The UI team continues to make up ‘issues’ to fix so they can report that they’re working on something. Stop changing things nobody asked for, it’s disruptive.
Somehow my least favourite part of it is that the thing you’re mousing over highlights, I find it really distracting. Apart from that yeah not really any problems so far.
I’m hoping it won’t autonumber stuff from scripts since my work relies a lot on exact names of several thousands of parts sometimes
They just want to modernize the UI because they’re not happy that Roblox actually looked unique instead of looking like the 3/4 of game developing softwares. It started a while ago but it took longer to reach studio… Eventually did and I think they can see that a majority of the devs aren’t really happy about it.
Huge respect for the UI makers, but there’s better things to do than focus on the already-working interface.
Maybe you all had it disabled all this time and never got used to it, cuz I don’t even remember how it was before, it works perfectly fine to me. I legit want to understand why everybody is so angry.
I don’t like this benchmark. When you want to optimize something, you need to consider how it will be in real scenarios. I don’t need to care if my game runs slowly with 100 players simultaneously if there will be only 10.
And there are some people really obsessed with this change.
