Okay. Okay. My bad. I still got no idea which feature to add next… I need some exploiters that can be added to the list… But i got no one to help me…

If you really want to prove your system works, what if you made your own game if not multiple and showcase it then? It’s an investment but its all a learning experience to prove your product works. Couldn’t you also give out custom usernames and passwords to the developers who use your product? example Username = UserId and then password is something they create. Then when they make an API call you can see who is accessing it and if they are verified in your system if not just block the call. This way you can control who has access. I never knew much about API’s but it could be a viable option to add an extra layer of protection.

Well im a solo-developer so i don’t think i would need a username, password system. BUT, Im thinking about making adding a admin-panel to NexusBan which NexusBan-staff can access with their their userid and password. And then they can flag, unflag users etc. etc

(Theres no moderators or admins yet, It’s just me)

Essentially, why not allow the developers themself choose how to script the responses to permbans, bans, kicks, etc. instead of your script handling itself although if there is a user who doesn’t know how to script then they can implement your version which handles the players via your choice. If this makes any sense.

Yeah but i mean for making requests? What if you give developers or people who sign up a login. This way when they make a request you can see who it making it to prevent any bad actors. Only GET Requests rather than PUT / PUSH requests. But i really think the idea of caching your global userid’s to a datastore in the game (but make it really optimized). is a good way to have a safe net. The forum is probably becoming dead as no one really sees a need for it. Making a project like this is really hard to convince people to use unless you become the main successor. I would suggest adding an AntiCheat it takes more time sure but if you want to make a project like this succeed you need to add stuff like that.

To add on, this is a crucial reason on why you need an in depth documentation. It can prevent hassle of being confused saving you time and saving the developer time. I suggest creating one when you can

You can either host it here through the devforum drop down menu or on your website, or on github if you make one. Github is easy since there is github pages… e.t.c with easy customizability.

We do not suggest developers to use the new BanAsync System, If a user gets unflagged and can’t join your game its not on us!

It may be hard to partner with an AntiCheat, but a lot of people in the replies said it would be a selling point to them for them to use your module. You can always take another AC with permission or MIT License and integrate it into your Module such as what a lot of people do with Maid, Trove, Janitor, ProfileStore, Signal+. I think its an option you should consider, and have a Config that allows you to disable it with it being on by default.

Other Reply: While it is a hassle to make it on other websites, it adds professionalism if you take a look at ProfileStore documentation it looks so much more professional compared to a devforum documentation. I believe Github handles all the UI stuff for you, a intro to github pages will dramatically improve your credibility.

Oh. Can you recommend any good AC without a License?

You mainly need to look at MIT License’s these licenses are distributive meaning you can use and it is free to integrate anywhere. Search up MIT license explanation and you will understand it better. Try and look for an anticheat with this.

Overall: I’d just invest in yourself and make the AntiCheat. This way you can flag players, create a replay system upload the replay to a webhook. and then you can verify from there, this will also allow you to get staff e.t.c to overlook the final verdict. Just a thought though!
