Before Session
Before the training session begins, the host will need to shout the session 20-30 minutes before the session commences.
Community server announcement format: @training notifications [TRAININGS] There is going to be a training session held at (insert time here) Eastern Time! Low Ranks, ranks 2-5, will be eligible to visit the Training Center and train for a possible promotion! Medium Ranks and higher, ranks7+, will be able to come down to assist! Hosted by: (insert host’s tag) Co Hosted by: (insert co host’s tag)! (Insert game URL)
Group wall announcement format: [TRAININGS] A training session is going to commence at (insert time) Eastern Time! LRs ranked 2-5 will be eligible to come to the Training Center, and MRs/HRs will be able to come assist! See you all down there!
The host and co host should arrive at the training center at least 15 minutes before the training session begins. At least five minutes before, the host, co host, or any HR needs to name and assign colors to the trainers and trainees. Try to keep the amount of trainees balanced between the three colors. Make sure that all of your MRs or HRs have the guide, and if they don’t have access to the guide, ask them to spectate. If absolutely needed, it is alright to let a person who does not have the guide be an assistant trainer, however, it is less riskier for all trainers to have the guide with them. Approximately 2 minutes before the session starts, the host will need to enable PTS.
Host: PTS (Permission to Speak) is in effect! Please do not speak unless you are given permission to do so. If you need to ask a question, simply ask by saying ‘PTS’ beforehand, then an MR+ will come to you and either grant you permission or deny it.
Welcome, Rules, and Terms
Right before the host says their welcome, make sure that someone or you have the server locked. You can do it by saying “:slock”. After the server is locked, the host may begin.
Host:
Welcome everyone to the training session! My name is (insert username), and I will be your host for this session! We will go over the rules and terms here shortly.

Co Host:
Please give me your attention so we may go over these rules and terms quickly.
Co Host: Rule I:
Grammar is needed in order to pass this session. You will only be given III grammar strikes in total. Surpassing that amount will lead to your failure for this session.
Co Host: Rule II:
Do not argue with your trainer. If you argue with your trainer, it will be an automatic fail for this session. Not only that, you will be demoted if you do argue with your trainer.
Co Host: Rule III:
Do not go AFK during this session. If you go AFK, you will fail this session.
Co Host: Rule IIII:
Disrespect will not be tolerated. If you are disrespectful to your trainer, you will fail this session and will be demoted.
Co Host:
If you disconnect or crash during the session, you will only have a short amount of time to return. If you do, tell us on the group wall or on community server.
Co Host:
There will be a total of IIII sections during your training: Greeting, Trivia, Orders, and Disruption.
Co Host:
Different expectations will be given for different ranks. The higher your rank is, the more difficult it will be.
Co Host:
Thank you for listening to the rules and terms, I will now turn everything over to the Host.
Host:
Trainers, please go to your corresponding colors. (NOT TRAINEES)
Host:
Alright, everything seems good to go! Trainees, please head to your corresponding colored registers.
At this time, the host will need to take attendance for the Trello Board.
Section 1: Greetings
Trainer:
Welcome trainees to the session! I am (insert username), and I will be your trainer for today!
Assistant Trainer:
Hello everyone! I am (insert username), and I will be your assistant trainer for today!
Trainer:
Does anyone have any questions before we jump into the training? Please respond to ensure you aren’t AFK.
Trainer:
Alright! We will now begin the training!
Section 2: Trivia
Trainer:
Welcome to the trivia portion of your training! We will PM (Private Message) you a total of III questions each.
Trainer:
You will only have a minute to answer each of the questions. If you do not meet that time requirement, you will automatically get that question incorrect.
Trainer:
If you get a question wrong, we will correct you in PMs.
Trainer:
Any questions before we begin?
After all questions are answered, the assistant trainer will send the PM.
Assistant Trainer:
I have sent the PM. Let me know if you did not receive the PM.
Question examples:
-
How many warnings do you give a troller?
-
What do you do if you encounter an exploiter?
-
Who owns Ni x Cafe?
-
How do you make (insert food/drink item)?
-
Do we serve (insert food/drink item)?
After everyone has answered all three questions, the assistant trainer will award them with a point for every question answered correctly. 0 points for all incorrect, 1 for 1 correct, 2 for 2 correct, and 3 for all 3 correct.
Section 3: Orders
Trainer:
Now we will move on to the next section, orders.
Trainer:
You each will be given a total of III orders to complete. Each order will progressively get more challenging.
Trainer:
To keep this training more organized, please wait until your trainer asks you to hand the item or items.
Trainer:
Any questions before we give you your orders to complete?
At this time, the assistant trainer will then give each trainee 3 unique and specific orders for them to complete.
Orders for a Trainee:
- Order 1: One food item
- Order 2: One food item
- Order 3: Two food items
Orders for a Junior Barista:
- Order 1: One food item
- Order 2: Two food items
- Order 3: Two food items
Orders for a Barista:
- Order 1: Two food items
- Order 2: Two food items
- Order 3: Three food items
Orders for a Head Barista:
- Order 1: Two food items
- Order 2: Three food items
- Order 3: Three food items
Please note - If any trainee is unable to complete all three orders, they automatically fail the session due to lack of experience in the kitchen.
Once again, for the points. If the trainee got 1 order correct, give them one point, 2 is 2 points, and 3 is 3 points.
Section 4: Disruption
Trainer:
Fantastic job you guys! We are now on the last stage of your training, the disruption stage!
Trainer:
We will teach you how to deal with difficult customers.
Trainer:
Please remember that we only give trollers III warnings. After you have given them III warnings, contact an MR/HR.
Trainer:
Also, please remember that major spammers, customers with inappropriate attire, bypassers, and exploiters will get NO warnings. Contact an MR/HR immediately in those cases.
Trainer:
Any questions before we start the disruption simulation?
Trainer:
Alright, the simulation will commence when we walk up to you. When we walk up, state your greeting as if we were regular customers.
After the simulations, award a point to your trainee if they followed the correct procedure and gave out three warnings if you trolled, or if they immediately contacted someone if you were exploiting, wearing inappropriate attire, or spamming majorly. If your trainee required assistance and struggled a bit, they will not receive a point for that section.
Results
During the whole training, there are a total of 8 possible points for each trainee to receive. A perfect score is 8 points. Trainees need a bare MINIMUM of 4 points. Junior Baristas need a MINIMUM of 5 points. Baristas need a MINIMUM of 6 points. Head Baristas need a MINIMUM of 7 points. If your trainee failed to meet the requirements, please let them know they have failed, and remember to be kind and respectful about it. If your trainee passed, take them to the designated spot to be promoted.
If the trainee passed: Congratulations! You have passed this training session! Please wait as the promoter ranks you.
If the trainee failed: Unfortunately, you did not meet the amount of points required to pass this session. Do not be discouraged, as you can always try again next session.
