No more ad revenue?

So I noticed that my as revenue plummeted on 30th Dec and have earned nothing since then, have Roblox disabled ads altogether? It would have been nice to have been forewarned of this if it was intentional as 80% of my earnings are from this feature.
Any information would be appreciated

EDIT: No ad appears on Moto G or iPad at all

To clarify, you’re talking about ads from the AdService, correct?

Yes, the adService has been a little broken lately and now appears to have completely gone

I thought it was gone for months? I haven’t enabled it in my games because I thought it was gone.

It was disabled on iOS, not android. I still earned a smaller percentage but now nothing

So is it disabled to date on iOS? Last time I tried testing nothing showed up, which was about 2 months ago.

Yes, they disabled iOS ads unintentionally on 6th Nov with a client update and haven’t fixed it since. The bigger issue is android ads were working but now I earn nothing from them

I stopped getting revenue as well around December 20th. Went from ~R$250 a day to none.

I didn’t know this was a thing… Let me know if it comes back.

iOS Ad Impressions - Robux Added

Hello,

We appreciate that you have added mobile ads to your game - as you may know they have not been functioning on iOS since our last mobile update. At this point we are paying you for the estimated mobile impressions that should have been generated via iOS had it been functioning for this period and have added [Hidden :P] Robux to your account. We appreciate you taking a chance on a new feature. We hope to add iOS ads back in the near future, but until then, we will not be able to pay any additional ROBUX for iOS ads as this feature will be disabled for the near future.

Thanks!

The ROBLOX Team

Well that would explain why we’re not getting revenue for iOS impressions, but not Android. Unless we’re left to assume Android devices faced the same fate.

Also says “for the near future” not “in the near future” which implies that the change was unintended.

Well I can definitely confirm that no one is showing any ads on Android. Unfortunately, I don’t really know why that is. I’m looking into it now, should have an answer within 24 hours.

FWIW, iOS ads were intentionally turned off after they began unintentionally causing the app to crash. They will be turned on with the next iOS release.

Any more info yet?

Well, I now know you’re supposed to be getting ads. Unfortunately it seems like something got messed up on the side of our ad-provider - I’m waiting to hear back from them.

The recent update for Roblox Mobile on iOS stated that ads no longer crash the app I believe, yet they still don’t appear.

Ads have been restored for iOS and Android. We are currently not running an ad campaign so you won’t see as many ads. You should still see some, and our metrics are showing that ads are being played.

Ah, thanks for keeping us updated.

We still don’t seem to be getting revenue from them, though my Google Analytics says they are being played.

Can anyone else confirm that they aren’t getting any ad revenue?
