No more skin-locked packages

the_zelda here, this has already been kind of fixed with R15 packages and I’m not sure if it was intentional or not. But its still a problem for R6 packages. Several packages have areas where the skin is locked and isn’t transparent, leaving it up to the player to choose what skin they want for the specific area.

The policeman package is an example of this,

R15: https://gyazo.com/82ba7a550fe1904776437c5260a77753

This basically disrupts the way can be dressed and is a bit annoying when trying to get a full outfit accomplished, especially since not every game supports R15.

R15: https://gyazo.com/38110854fd72635f067e141bd71bbc50

Basically just asking for the skin colored areas to be made transparent so all users can enjoy customizing characters w/o this hindrance

This skin-locking does appear rather too often. I don’t mean to demean anyone’s hard work, but we already know that it’s possible for a package texture overlay to be transparent, and some packages even have areas (generally the hands) that only show skin. Would definitely appreciate if these packages could have their “problematic” texturing fixed.

I’m pretty sure that a package released today for R$5,000 is skin locked.

yup posted it earlier

While we are at it I also hate the skin-locked faces!

Yeah there are a few for the XBOX One packages – in fact I believe ALL of them are skin locked.

This is because it is not possible to change the skin-tone of characters on Xbox so the packages need to be skin-tone locked. I agree we should avoid skin-tone locking packages where possible though.
