No reading time when not logged in

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to post something on the forum, because you have to get a certain amount of reading time to be able to post. I understand this is done to keep spam away, but I always used the forum to read stuff. But I wasn’t logged in because I didn’t see why i would do that because I didn’t need to post at that moment. When I after some time actually needed to post something, I logged in to find out you needed to have a certain amount of reading time to post. The reading time from when I was not logged in had gone away, which was pretty annoying. I hope there is a solution for this for the future forummers.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because I could post when I needed to.

Having stuff like read time tracked on a specific account is kind of the point of logging into something.

Thanks for posting your concern and agree the entry requirements of the forum are somewhat weirdly structured for the purpose.

One thing we’re thinking about is ways to auto-sync sessions between roblox.com and the DevForum so that you don’t need to think about stuff like this as much. This is a longer-term project though so this will take some time to get prioritized and rolled out.

We’re also thinking more broadly about what makes sense for forum entry requirements outside of the above.

I understand that. But I did not care about my read time because I didn’t knew I needed it to be able to post something. That is why I didn’t see the use of logging in.

I think that would be great to have, because when I would have already been logged in I wouldn’t have this problem.
