At the time I originally experienced this, I had Norton installed, and I don’t anymore. I was also on Windows 11, and I am currently on 10. Same PC, same specs, hasn’t happened in forever.
Great now i run into this issue the moment i tried to test, I swear this always have a chance at happening every dam update they do to the studio, Have to reinstall studio to fix it, they should honestly fix how they update studio
literally. i spent 3 HOURS trying to figure out why roblox studio couldn’t install for me. it’s just because it was trying to install webview2 but it had a problem doing that, so i had to install the standalone version.
Just happened to me and I lost 2 hours of code. No auto save… nothing
Just broken studio.
got this again after latest update:
Tip to devs:
Play test the game before you start writing scripts! (or you will lose your work if you get this error which pops up only when play testing)
I noticed when you first connect it’ll warn you in the console, if you see that then reinstall before making changes
I have been experiencing this issue on and off for the past month or so now. I have had to uninstall/reinstall (and re-add plugins) about 4 or 5 times.
After installing the latest studio build, I encountered this issue for the first time. When I tried to run a local test of a place, Studio froze and displayed errors related to patches and core scripts in the output. I attempted to run a TeamTest, which worked, but this didn’t address the underlying issue with local testing. However, after uninstalling and then reinstalling the studio, everything seemed to be working as expected.
What I saw when experiencing this was the title text being errored out in the output, pressing play attempts to start the test session but fails, once again erroring the same text. This fixes after a place rejoin, which has Team Create enabled.
