This is exactly what it sounds, this has happened twice today. I clicked on the play button for a game, nothing happened. I tried to by an item, nothing happened. It’s almost as if the Roblox website is frozen.
I had this problem TWICE today. Please fix this. Please.
It’s like every day Roblox gets a new problem that they don’t fix, the website is breaking more and more.
Note: I do have some extensions enabled such as RoPro, etc.
It’s difficult for our team to diagnose your issue without any logs or system information.
Could you please try turning off all your extensions and clearing your local storage? (link is for Chrome since I’m not sure what browser you’re using).
If that doesn’t work, please let us know what browser you’re using and if there are any errors in the Console.
Thank you! I have just turned off my extensions to see if this problem is related with them or not. Also, sorry for the lack of info. I do indeed use Chrome, if the problem persists, I’ll try some of the links.
Hmm, when it happened to me, I closed and open the browser, and the problem was still there. I took around 8 minutes for everything to start working again. For me I think the problem is with one of my extensions. Still not 100% sure
Just wanted to jump in and say there’s a post about what information to include in a bug report: How to post a Bug Report.
This sounds like the problem is inconsistent, not happening 100% of the time. It also sounds like you can access the website, but that it just takes “around 8 mins.” That’s different from the title.
Generally if you open things fine when disabling plugins, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that’s the issue. Just to throw it out there, does the issue (of the slow or non-working website) happen for you on a different laptops or machines?
To clarify, same Roblox account and a Google browser. If it does work fine, then that can help narrow down the issue. All that said though, I’m not Roblox staff so I don’t want to get in the way of what would actually be helpful here.
I turned off my extensions and so far this problem has not happened yet. I can’t guarantee that this is fixed, but I have RoPro off.
So this may very likely be a problem with RoPro, as I’ve never seen this happened with out RoPro on. If RoPro is the problem, then I highly recommend you stop using RoPro. Once again I’m not 100% sure if this is the issue but very likely. I’ll report back soon if something happens.
