Sometimes, the ‘1’ on my DevForum tab just gets stuck there, even after I read all my notifications, the 1 is still there, whilst I have no notifications at all.
Not entirely sure what the cause is, it happens randomly, and I have to usually refresh the site for it to fix.
This might be related to post approval: when a post is redirected, it is removed from Latest and won’t trigger a notification, but it still shows up in the browser icon and it will show the “1 new topic” banner in the latest list (but when you click on it nothing happens).
I looked into this while I was working on the post approval flow but this was very non-trivial to fix. A Roblox engineer/contractor would need to spend more time looking into a more involved fix for this issue.
Did you try to close and open page again or checking notifications again or maybe there is new topic or unread topic appear
I get this issue for the browser tab using Firefox on Windows 10, even when there’s no notification or notification icon anywhere else. It goes away in a new tab. For my issue, it isn’t related to Post Approval.
