Great job on achieving a high rank (HR) in Nova Security. Some restrictions on what you are allowed to do have been lifted, but some new ones have been imposed. Breaking these rules may range from a reminder to a demotion. In the event of a demotion from a designated HR rank, these rules no longer apply and the standard handbook is applied to you once more. Welcome to the Nova Security Handbook! Please read all the rules carefully. If the handbook changes it’ll be announced. If a rule is broken the punishment may range from a simple warning to a blacklist. Everyone Everyone must wear a uniform while patrolling, and respect HRs. Rules / Guidelines:

ALL HRs

  • Must show respect and dignity to everyone - you are part of the structure of Nova!
  • Must not abuse admin nor weapons - you are entrusted with this. Use it responsibly.
  • May host - see Trainer restrictions.
  • Are entitled to admin of some sort - this is a right, and it can only be downgraded: NOT taken away
  • May observe if not training nor picked as TA - mind Observer rules

Trainers

  • Administrator admin
  • May announce trainings in the Discord and the group shout.
  • May use opent/closet and Run/ - ALWAYS
  • Can host whenever they want to under the constraint of the one hour training policy.
  • May have 4 or fewer TAs, but no more.
  • Only need to be observed for their first 5 trainings.

Managers

  • Moderator admin
  • Regulate Trainers and trainees
  • May interfere with trainings with permission, in a relevant and appropriate manner.
  • May announce relevant information in-game, with permission from trainer.
  • Entitled to training and weapons.

Facility Commanders

  • Administrator admin.
  • Regulate Managers, Trainers, and trainees.
  • May interfere with trainings, but only in an appropriate and non-destructive way.
  • May announce anything in-game with permission from trainer.
  • May announce anything outside of the game at any time if necessary and given permission by Head of Security or Nova Commanders.
  • May host trainings under the constraint of the one hour training policy if given permission by Nova Commanders or Head of Security.
  • Don’t need to be observed unless they have never hosted before or new to hosting.

Nova Commanders

  • Top dog individuals - have access to roles, weapons, administrator admin, and hosting privileges
  • Regulate Head of Security, Facility Commanders, Managers, and Trainers
  • Can interfere with trainings as deemed necessary

Head of Security

  • NOT above the Handbook.
  • Must notify everyone if the Handbook changes.
  • Can promote or demote anybody to any role.
  • May host, but is observing other trainings sometimes.
  • Also constrained to the one hour training policy. (This means trainings cant be hosted right after a training ends.)
