Nova Security Promotion System
Promotions are earned with Merits which are given out at Training Sessions for completing events and tasks, They are also sometimes given out automatically just by either Attending the Training Session or Patrol Session.
Merit requirements for Lower and Middle Ranks:
Low Ranks [LR]
[LR] Recruit Security
[LR] Trained Security → 
15 Merits
[LR] Secondary Security → 30 Merits
[LR] Primary Security → 50 Merits
[LR] Elite Security → 70 Merits
Middle Ranks [MR]
[MR] Officer In-Training → 100 Merits
[MR] Security Officer → 150 Merits
[MR] Experienced Officer → 250 Merits
[MR] Special Officer → 350 Merits

To be promoted past Special Officer, an evaluation is required. For more information, check out the Nova Security Elite Troopers Reference Book. Please do not ask High Ranks to promote you past Special Officer or Elite Trooper, because there are guides for that, and our promotions are conducted fairly. “Hinting” for a promotion may hinder your chances of receiving one at all.
