NPC ignores the pathfinding modifier when its under terrain

i randomly came across this issue when i try to place some pathfinding modifiers on some craters.
the npc seems to ignore the modifier even when i set the cost value to math.huge when its under terrian. and only then it will avoid it when its under a basepart

is this a bug in the pathfinding, or i am just missing something?

Try reinitiating the script and see if that helps .or use a different method for the path finding.
