Obby game concept

My brother (@C_Corpze) and I recently worked on a teamwork obby game but with a twist. The twist being, your camera is a platform for other players to stand on.

Currently the game only has a few stages as we ran out of ideas. This is where we ask your help.

If possible we need some people to test the game and see if the concept is actually fun to play or if it requires some modifications. We would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback, ideas or suggestions.

The game can be found here. Do note, you need at least 2 players to play this.

Planned features:

  • Being able to go back to a previous checkpoint
  • Rejoining within 5 minutes saves your checkpoint
  • Speedrun leaderboards
  • Blacklist setting (not being able to collide with the blocked person’s camera)

I noticed that I got pinged here.

Alright so to clarify.
This obby game is a small project of ours that I helped with.

Your camera basically has a physics object attached to it so you can use it as a platform and to press buttons.

The game also has a rear-view mirror so you can look behind your camera and see who’s standing on top of it.

Though we both struggle to get enough creative ideas for stages since mainly my brother wanted to avoid making the game look too much like a generic 2-player obby (though it kind of already does to be fair).

Mostly, we want to know if this simple concept of a game is actually fun and engaging enough to play despite it’s flaws and lacking some of the stuff that we need feedback for.
