so I’m making an obby right now and I’ve done a lot of the scripting part of it but I need and idea for a theme for the obby because I just have 0 ideas. Just recommend them.
I do not have any ideas for your obby, but I do have some things to say.
Most obbies are almost always very similar to each other, which is why it would benefit your game a lot if it had a slight twist. I’m not saying you have to completely make a different game from an obby, but try to implement game mechanics or levels that are usually not seen in other obbies. From there, it should be easy to use and build a theme centered somewhat around the thing that makes your game unique.
Obby BUT random event happens every 10 seconds
Obby BUT theres math
Obby BUT theres a time limit
Obby BUT you die, you get kicked
Obby BUT limited jumps
Obby BUT no shiftlock
Obby BUT no jumping
Obby BUT theres no gravity
Obby BUT its backwards

What would be really unique and new, and would be a challenge too, would be an npc that chases you through the obby. The npc jumps and goes through the obstacle course, hunting you down. If you achieve that, that would be a one of a kind of an obby.
it would make it cooler if the one chasing you was someone random from your friends list.
I don’t even know like 90 percent of my friends list lol
