Occasionally unable to launch the client or load into servers, error code 610

There seems to be an issue with loading into games.

  • How often does the bug happen (Every time/sometimes/rarely)?

It has been consistently happening for around 45 minutes - since I first attempted to join a game. (9th Oct. 2019 - 7:03 PM BST)

Still happening but rarely now, maybe once or twice before it lets you join, and repeats quite frequently. (10th Oct. 2019 - 6:50 AM BST)

Not frequently repeating, but it is still popping up with the same error, one of the five friends that had the issue says she’s not getting it at all anymore. (US) (11th Oct. 2019 - 7:47 AM BST) [See affected areas from today]

    I and my friends experiencing this are in Europe, UK. I’m not sure if this is happening elsewhere.

    Windows 10 - Myself
    Windows 10 & 7 - My friends
    Others are also stating issues with their other devices on DownDetector.

  • I’m sure the ISP doesn’t have anything to do with this as the ISP I’m with is different from the others having this issue and is only run in my country.

Also seeing messages on third-party down detectors stating the same issue, with fewer reports leading to this morning. As shown here and here, it seems to be happening all over the place.
