OHaR | About Us
Ocean Hotel and Restaurant (OHaR) is a growing hotel community on Roblox with active staff and a professional moderation team to ensure the stay of our guests is nothing like they have ever experienced before! Within our hotel we have many features which will make sure your stay at Ocean Hotel and Restaurant will never be forgotten.
These include, but are not limited to, our own large waterpark, a massive pool, a bar with professional and active Baristas that can create multiple different dishes, and what guests seem to love the most… our very own OHaR Fairground!
During your stay you should first head into the hotel and get checked into one of our amazingly large rooms by our fully-trained receptionists, who are able to deal with all types of ordeals. From there, you can go grab a bite to eat or a delicious milkshake from our bar! Afterwards, the choice is yours.
Our staff are always happy to help, so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

Community Rules

All guidelines and terms of service set by Roblox should be followed at all times. Refusal to follow Roblox guidelines or Terms of Service will result in your account being permanently banned from all of our group games.

Listen to staff members. Refusal to listen to staff members will result in them giving you a verbal warning. If you reach 3 verbal warnings an MR will be called to kick you from the game.

The use of third-party software to exploit, glitch, or in any way edit the client to do things we don’t offer is strictly against our rules, and you will receive a permanent ban for doing so.

Spamming is strictly against our rules and you will be warned or banned for doing so.

Being disrespectful to anybody in the server is strictly forbidden and will result in you receiving a verbal warning.

Discrimination against race, age, minority, religion, background, orientation, appearance, disability, political views, or anything else is strictly forbidden and will result in you being permanently banned.

All groups must be respected in the same way you respect our group. Talking bad about another group will result in a verbal warning.

Asking any form of personal questions is strictly forbidden and you will receive an immediate kick for doing so.

Bypassing or attempting to bypass the Roblox chat filter in any way, or using language which could be taken into an inappropriate context is strictly forbidden

Recording or providing any form of application or training answers is strictly forbidden, and you will be immediately removed from your rank for doing so.
Staff Rules
All community rules still apply for staff members.

Grammar is required to be used in all group or affiliated games.

Uniform must be worn at all times when in the Hotel. (This can be found in the staff room behind the reception.)

You must act in a professional manor in any games linked or affiliated to Ocean Hotel and Restaurant.

You must not ask or hint for a promotion in any way.

Appeals are accepted for demotions, rank terminations, and game bans.

After submitting the person you submitted it to will take a look at the group, review your answers, and get back to you with a yes or no answer. If your application is accepted, you will be asked to send an ally request.
Rank Descriptions
Guest Rank's
1 | Hotel Guest - A regular hotel guest at OHaR.
B | Business Partner - Alliance representatives that are representing their groups inside OHaR!
N | Noted Guest - Guests who are recognised by the community, such as Former MR/HR’s.
2 | Suspended - Staff who have been temporarily suspended from their staff position.
3 | Awaiting Training - Group members who are awaiting training to become a staff rank.
Low Rank's
4 | Housekeeping - As housekeeping, their job is to clean up spills around the hotel, and if a guest requests them to do so, clean a guests’ room.
5 | Barista - As a Barista, their job is to server our guests’ or staff members their desired snacks or drinks.
6 | Security - As security, their job is to protect the hotel from rule breakers and take over if a guest is misbehaving, instead of leaving other staff to do so.
7 | Receptionist - As a receptionist, their job is to use the in-game check-in system to check guests into rooms, as well as answer any questions the guests may have.
Middle ranks are expected to supervise the hotel and respond to MR calls whenever needed, as well as host shifts when available.
High Ranks are expected to be available whenever needed and also constantly be on the lookout for new users to welcome into our MR team, as well as hosting trainings and shifts whenever available.
Super High-Ranks are expected to keep the hotel in line, and always be available to assist High-Ranks in situations they may not be able to handle, as well as hosting sessions and constantly being on the lookout for new members to welcome into our MR or HR team.
Job Process Information
Becoming an Awaiting Training
--- **The first step into your career at OHaR is passing an application.**The Application Center is open at all times, though your application will need to be read by a member of our High-Rank Team or Senior-High-Rank Team. This is to ensure they are marked correctly, professionally, and so we know that your grammar and spelling is up to standards needing to be met to get a job.
In order to submit an application you should be in the group. If you are not in the group, you will be kicked from the center automatically. Once in the group, you should join the game and click “LR Application”. You should then proceed to answer the questions in detail, whilst using grammar to the best of your ability. Make sure to double-check your answers before proceeding to the next question, as you are not able to edit answers.
In order to pass you should have used detail and have gained no more than 3 grammar strikes. Once it is submitted a HR/SHR will read the application within 48 hours. If you have passed your application you will be ranked within 48 hours, if not then you won’t be ranked. There is no other way of knowing if you passed or failed.
Training
In order to officially become a staff member here at OHaR you should pass a training session after passing your Application.
In order to attend a training session, you must be a rank 3+ in the group. Staff and/or the Host will join 15 minutes before the start time. During that time all Awaiting Trainings and LR’s are required to be seated in the lobby. Once the official start time is reached, the HR/SHR Host will slock the server, meaning from that point onwards only HR+ can join the server. They will then proceed to go through some rules/information regarding the session whilst the co-host (If there is one) PM’s all the Trainees asking what rank they would wish to receive (4 - 7). They will then be named and chosen Helpers/Trainers will be sent to the station they have been asked to Help/Train.
Once the Host has concluded stating all rules/information regarding the session all Trainees will be dismissed to their station. Once they are all seated, the trainer will go through a Job Briefing, stating everything they need to know for the job they are training for. Helpers will be demonstrating that job (where applicable). After the trainer has concluded, Helpers will choose a trainee to help. They will then go through a Trivia (consisting of 5 questions regarding their job), a Troll Test (Where the helper is a troll and the Trainee must correctly go about giving warnings and calling an MR+), and a Basic Roleplay (Where the Helper acts like a regular guest and the Trainee must efficiently go about doing their job. The Basic Roleplay is not required for Security Trainees.
