Odd grid pattern in lighting

I’m trying to make the lighting in my game smoother. It might just be my monitor…

Right now, it’s just a flashlight in a dark room. While moving around with the flashlight on, you can see a visible grid-like pattern on the floor, despite the floor being one solid part. The transition from light to dark at the edges is definitely just my monitor, but I feel like the grid thing should be fixable.

Have you tried other Lighting technologies? It could be because of that. Lighting->Technology
Can you also tell me what lighting technology is currently being used?

Edit: It might be how Roblox handles lighting. Roblox uses voxel grids to calculate light and shadow for any type of light. You can try changing the graphics quality to a higher one.
…or it could be your monitor.

Currently I am using ShadowMap

I just switched the lighting technology to Future and it works so much better now. I’ve always used ShadowMap, so it didn’t really occur to me to change the lighting technology. Thank you!
