So recently I’ve fallen in love with a new sort of design, something that isn’t really prevalent on ROBLOX. I was wondering if any game developers would like a few graphics made for their gamepasses, UIs, etc.
The style I want to offer is a flat illustration approach to UI and icon design. I really enjoy this design because it offers a more streamlined (less blocky), professional/composed look.
Some samples of things I think this sort of design is good for:
gamepasses
in-game UI icons
UI illustrations (ex. a placeholder illustration when nothing is currently needed to be displayed)
Marketing posters
An example game landing page to represent my style:
Just an updated idea post to show what I want to create (just made this to further my point): This is meant to be a landing page when a player enters a game, of course images would be different to suit the game genre.
@Younite You’ve been in the graphic design industry on ROBLOX far longer/far more successful than I, I was just wondering what your take was on this sort of art in ROBLOX? Does it have a place?
I could see your graphics in a lot of places you listed - gamepasses, UI icons and illustrations, and posters. I could even see you doing thumbnails like KxraDraws. Obviously a bit different art style but I think it might be worth experimenting.
For free? I do possibly, maybe, might happen (Yes I do!) to need some new icons for my gamepasses. I do rendered art but I like your style of art better.
Really neat style you’re having😊 I’ve also experienced doing something for free just for the sake of self promotion and building up a portfolio. This is a good thing for you although I should advise you to still limit yourself. Things can get a little too overwhelming.
Wow! Never expected to have you here - I LOVE your graphic design.
I am going to make sure I start charging when things begin to get overwhelming. I don’t want to lose the fun from designing and being creative-although money is nice.
