General Rules

Please note: Moderators may punish you for violations not mentioned here


Rule 1 - Follow the Roblox Community Guidelines

1.1: Repeat offenses of the Roblox Community Guidelines may be punished with a warning or suspension depending on the severity of the violation


Rule 2 - Follow the Roblox Terms of Use

Rule 3 - Be respectful

Be respectful towards fellow Community Members at all times. Being disrespectful such as Harassment or Bullying is not allowed

3.1: Roblox may also take action on their side if needed


Rule 4 - No Glitching

Abusing glitches to gain advantages is not allowed and could in some cases be considered “Exploiting”. This includes:

4.1: Glitching in the form of abusing a vulnerability of a in-game feature

4.2: Glitching in a way to get a unfair advantage


Rule 5 - No Spam

Spamming chat or other communication channels with repetitive or irrelevant messages is prohibited and this includes:

5.1: Flooding the text chat with messages

5.2: Promoting services such as games, begging for followers, etc

5.3: Abusing a in-game feature by spamming (Radio, etc)

5.4: Using special characters to flood the chat

5.5: Spamming support channels such as reporting


Rule 6 - No Exploiting

Using cheats, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate moderation action. Using undetected exploits will not absolve players of accountability. Evidence from players or delayed detection by our system may still lead to enforcement. This includes:

6.1: Abusing the System to gain certain currency or progress such as Money, Levels, etc

6.2: Attempting to get control of unauthorized panels

6.3: Gaining a unfair advantage using exploits

6.4: Abusing a vulnerability that allows you to noclip, speed hack, etc

6.5: Repeated offenses of this rule may be punished with a permanent suspension


Rule 7 - No Impersonation

Impersonating developers, moderators, or any other individuals is not allowed and may result in a punishment. This Includes but is not limited to:

7.1: Impersonating a ingame Moderator

7.2: Claiming to be a Developer of the game

7.3: Actively impersonating a community member

7.4: Actively claiming to be Roblox Staff without having a official status on their Roblox Profile


Rule 8 - Reporting Issues

If you encounter any issues or witness rule violations, please report them to the moderators. False reporting or misuse of the reporting system may result in a warning. Warnings may not always issued depending on the severity of the violation. Violations include:

8.1: False Reporting users counts as misusing the reporting system. False reporting counts when the user intentionally reports someone without any reason

8.2: Spamming the reporting system with false reports/or the same person

8.3: You may also get punished if you accidentally misused the reporting channel multiplie times. This includes reporting someone because you “thought” they violated the rules because it is similiar to a rule that does violate the rules


Rule 9 - Encouraging to break Rules

Encouraging fellow community members to break the rules of the Roblox Community Standards, Roblox Terms of Use or Game rules is not allowed

How to Report a Violation

If you witness any rule violations, please report them to the moderators by following these steps:

  • Click on the “Profile” button located on the top left of your screen.
  • Click on the “Help & Safety” button located at the bottom right in the profile menu.
  • Select the type of violation from the dropdown menu.
  • Enter the Roblox Username.
  • Submit the report.

Note: This feature is not available in all games yet


How to Report a Bug

  • Click on the “Profile” button located on the top left of your screen.
  • Click on the “Help & Safety” button located at the bottom right in the profile menu.
  • Click on “I would like to report a bug in this experience”
  • Add any details like how the bug occurs
  • Submit the bug report

Note: This feature is not available in all games yet


Game Moderators

Moderators in-game usually have a “Moderator” tag above their head to show that they are a trustworthy and a official Game Moderator. If someone claims to be a ingame Moderator but doesn’t have the “Moderator” tag then report them using the “Help & Safety” button inside the profile menu

Note: This feature might be only available in the following games: A completely normal hangout

How to Report a Game Moderator

If you witness a Moderator abusing their power, you can only report them inside the discord server linked at the game page at the moment but this might change in the future. Game Moderators usually have a “Moderator” tag above their head which shows their status. Moderators are held to the same rules and standards as players. If found abusing their role or violating the above rules, they may face punishments like any other player.

Basic violations are the following:

  • Harassment
    • Includes Threats, hate speech, etc
  • Falsely punishing people
  • Profanity
