This post will summarize the ally requirements. We have these specific requirements to ensure all official allies abide by Roblox’s community guidelines and are a friendly, welcoming environment for gymnasts.
Please note that any gymnastics team/group can compete and participate in OGC events, such as competitions. The following is simply for allying.
Allies
“What is an ally?”
On Roblox, there is a feature for groups to ally eachother. It is a mutual agreement between two groups. The purpose of this is to show endorsement or mutually benefit from each other.
“Why doesn’t OGC ally all groups?”
It is not beneficial to ally every group, since some groups are not established, follow Roblox rules, and aren’t active within the community.
Ally Requirements

The group must have an active staff team with clear staff ranks and roles.

If the group is sports related, it must have a functional game within the group.

The group/team must be established. A group description and logo is required. Groups with stolen logos, decals, or artwork will not be considered.

Groups are to have 100+ members. There are few exceptions to this requirement. Botted groups will not be allied.

If the group is a gymnastucs/dance/cheer team, the team must have competed in OGC monthly competitions previously.

Roblox’s community guidelines and rules must be followed within the group to be considered. (Having offsite links or Discord codes on the group description aren’t allowed).

Groups with stolen intellectual property and content such as the builds within game, logos, decals, etc. will not be considered.

Groups with a reputation of breaking rules, bullying, negative behavior, etc. will not be considered.
Common reasons why a group’s ally request will be rejected:
- The group logo is stolen artwork from another group or uses stolen renders from another artist.
- The group’s gym uses a leaked/stolen build of another gym or building base. Free models are fine, but using leaks of other people’s content without permission is not.
- The group’s gym uses decals that are not listed for use, and are being used without permission.
- The group has less than 100 members and has not competed within OGC competitions before.
- The group has a Discord code in the group description (which users under 13 can view).
Please ensure your group meets all of the requirements above before sending an ally request. Otherwise, it will automatically be rejected.
