Old fashioned bench

Any opinions on this bench? it’s inspired by Romanian antique benches that were (mainly) used indoors, sort of like couches today, as well as storage spaces (by lifting the seat you would discover that the inside of the bench is empty.) Criticism is welcome! a1

It looks pretty nice. There are few problems with it…
The handles appear to be like .01 increment off
The diamond-like design looks unsupported.
I really like it, it looks like it belongs to a grandma. Good job

I like it. It looks pretty unique for what it is, keep up the good work :slightly_smiling_face:.

the 0.1 increment off is used in order to avoid z-fighting. Any better solution? I can’t union the handles due to the fact that i used a mesh cylinder, and the fact that unions tend to get corrupted and disappear.

A better solution for z fighting is to change the size of the part. Eg, Lets say the circle is 24 on the axis, change it to 24.001. Here is a better video on what I mean. @VlachSlv

That is great, thank you for the video. I thought that if the difference in size was lower than 0.1 then z-fighting would appear, turns out i was wrong! going to try using this, it’s a life saver.
