I’ve never really liked Roblox’s newer chat bubble and box. I’m an old player and prefer the simplicity of the older chat bubble.
edit: to clarify, this is for the 2016 chat bubble
I was looking through some of my old games and found the old chat bubble/box scripts. It had the cut-off issue which I fixed with this post.
I just wanted to post this resource since a while ago I wanted the old chat bubbles in one of my games but I was never able to find the files.

I didn’t fix the whisper vulnerability which lets people see what players are whispering to each other via exploits. I left the system untouched besides that little fix. There’s probably other vulnerabilities as well. You’ll probably need to add remote rate limiting and check the datatypes and string lengths and whatnot of the data sent through remotes.
If you’re looking for an even older chat then here’s the 2011 one I found in the toolbox.
Also even though I’m 99% sure I left it untouched, I’m not entirely sure. I found this in an older game from 3 years ago, I don’t remember what I’ve done to the code.
