Old Roblox styled map: Frosty Complex

I’m working on a game called Brickbattle Revived and I want to make my own maps for it. The first custom map is what I call Frosty Complex. I initially posted this while it was work in progress, but now it is complete:

To make bricks shaped like how they used to (1.2 stud increments in the Y axis), I made my own private plugin called “Form Factor” that brings back this functionality. Although it is sometimes broken, it does the job for me.

What do you all think? Does it fit perfectly with the old Roblox aesthetic?

Im glad there is no studs, that would looka little bit weird

This is pretty neat. I dig the retro roblox aesthetic. Good job!

Old Roblox Lighting it not like that, it’s too realistic.
well usually. But i like the old Roblox vibe

I want my game to not just feel like old Roblox but also feel more clean and modern. untitled tag game is a piece of inspiration for my game and it looks like that.

Cool. I like that.
BTW did you use smooth plastic? and studs surfaces?

I used smooth plastic but I did not use surfaces. Everything is anchored except for a few things in my game like the stairs in Chaos Canyon. By the way, the map is now complete. I am going to edit the main post to include these changes.

Sometimes I think

instead create a more detail map like this.

Old maps still look good without surfaces:
