I’ve had this problem for awhile now, but although when I update my Roblox Studio, or even uninstall and re-install Studio, I don’t have the new terrain materials anymore.
I think I’m stuck with the old terrain tools and I’m not sure how to fix this, at one point I had both the old and new terrain tools installed on the terrain tab, but since a few months ago the new ones had disappeared.
Any help is appreciated, thanks
The picture you got, is showing the new terrain tools, and the new terrain in the map.
Not sure what you mean by it’s showing old stuff?
Yes I can see the new interface, however this should have an ignore water option, and the new materials which I vitally need but I’m pretty sure this is the old version because it’s not the updated one
It seems like you have a old version, have you tried un installing roblox, and deleting the “roblox” appdata folder?
Then re installed roblox?
PS, take backup of all plugins, that ins’t pre installed with roblox, or thoes you want to keep installed.
I haven’t deleting the appdata, where can I find the appdata folder?
Typing %appdata% on Windows search will bring you to your Roaming AppData folder, go back from Roaming into AppData, go into the Local folder here and then Roblox should be there. If there’s any problems with that then you could go another route and just directly type in the path:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Roblox
That’s where mine is stored, . May need to change C:\ depending on where your accounts are stored and replace Username with the actual account name you’re signed into on the PC. It’s been 3 hours so this has likely been solved but could help someone else and you haven’t posted anything back here about it being solved yet so could still help. 
Yes you and master were correct! Thank you very much it is now fixed, had to reinstall my plugins but that’s no problem now my terrain tools are fixed.
