Omni-directional movement

This is my first topic so I hope I haven’t misused the tags I chose D:

I’ve been planning on making a game with an astronaut movement system but I’m unsure how I could go about it.
Essentially, players would be able to move around the space freely as if they were using an omni-directional jetpack.

Could someone help me find some resources or explain how they think this idea could work within Roblox’s engine?

Use body movers (LinearVelocity or VectorForce in this case), to control the player’s movement.
For input detection, use UserInputService.

For example, whenever the player presses W, you want to modify the parameters of LinearVelocity so that the player’s character moves forward.
