On create.roblox.com please show the decal id immediately as a copyable id on the page

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to upload an image in the cloud and use it in Roblox.

I don’t want anything fancy. I literally just want the asset id from this page. Please put the image id, optionally formatted as rbxassetid://NUMBER on this page in web UI. This is very cheap to do, and would save me literally 5-10 seconds everytime I upload an image.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because uploading images on the web would be easier (and yes, I know I can upload from Studio, I don’t want to).

You should be able to extract the ID from the URL.

https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/creations/marketplace/ ID IS HERE /configure

e.g.
https://create.roblox.com/dashboard/creations/marketplace/9616560890/configure: 9616560890 is the ID.

It would be better if we could copy the URI directly though.

While functionally identical to the little button in the corner menu, if you’re happy with a workaround for now this plugin will save you one click. Chrome / Firefox extension - quickly copy asset IDs / user IDs from links on the website

I know how to get the ID, but thank you for the response. Others may not know.

I want the Id immediately. I don’t want to juggle 10 tabs when I upload 20 images.

There’s almost exactly one major usecase for uploading an image on this page. That’s to get the ID to use in studio. I’m not sure why I wouldn’t want the ID.

Specific scenarios include uploading an id and then just sending it straight to a teammate on discord.
