Reproduction Steps
- On the app with a mobile device, receive a chat message from a friend.
- Observe how the indicator (
) doesn’t appear when the message has been sent. Also, observe how the indicator only appears after tapping the chat messages button. The indicator doesn’t disappear after viewing the message and switching between different pages with the bottom menu.

Expected Behavior
When a friend sends a chat message, the indicator should appear on the chat messages button. Once the message is viewed and the user switched to another page, the indicator should disappear.
Actual Behavior
The indicator only appears after tapping chat messages button. Also, the indicator doesn’t disappear after viewing the message and switching to another page. The indicator still doesn’t disappear after replying to the message and switching to another page.
