On phone, some topics and profiles extend past the right margin

Reproduction Steps

  1. On a phone, view a topic or profile that contains long text.
  2. Swipe to the left.
  3. Observe how the page extends past the right margin.

Browser Information

  • User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 17_1_2 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/17.1.2 Mobile/15E148 Safari/604.1
  • Platform Type: iOS: unknown phone
  • Device Type: Phone

Expected Behavior
A topic or profile should remain within the margins regardless of long text.

Actual Behavior
A topic or profile that contains long text extends past the right margin. This issue doesn’t occur with every topic or profile, and it appears to be caused by long text.

The tag “bug, transactions-and-transaction…” of a bug report under suggested topics.

On my profile, the category “Roblox Application and Website Bugs” under top categories.

This is because discourse changed how tags are displayed and now go off the page. I recommend reporting it as an issue to them instead as it isn’t related to this forum itself.

I heard from Hooksmith that they don’t update the base Discourse version compared to Discourse plugins
