DATA BASE

  • Due to issues with data saving, and occasional player data resets, we were forced to rewrite the entire system from scratch. As a result, players have lost all progress in the following databases: Perks, Add-ons, Key Skins, Effects, Banners, Name Tags, Levels (RANK), XP, Settings.

SHOPS, EQUIPMENT, INVENTORY

  • [CHANGE] Add-Ons and Perks are now available in the Inventory to equip.
  • [NEW] Added the following shops to the game: Key Skins, Effects, Banners, Name Tags.
  • [REWORK] Completely new system for acquiring Add-Ons and Perks.

MAP PRESENTATION

  • [NEW] Added a map presentation that appears before the match starts.
    • Players can vote to skip the presentation.
    • During the presentation, objectives and instructions for escaping the map are displayed.

PERKS

  • [REWORK] Glue Trap

    • [BUFF] Effects are reduced for the player who placed the trap.
    • [NERF] Reduced trap size to 8 (was 12).
    • [CHANGE] Removed temporary stun — now players must escape by spamming the action button.
    • [REWORK] Some add-ons have been changed.
  • [REWORK] Honey Trap

    • [BUFF] Increased trap removal time to 60s (was 35s).
    • [NERF] Screen visibility decreases (more transparent) during the slowness effect.

NOTEBOOK

  • [REWORK] Players now have 25 free letters to use in the notebook, and unlimited with the Notebook Gamepass.

  • [REMOVE] Removed the Word Capacity upgrade.

HATCH

  • [CHANGE] The hatch now spawns in the same location for all players.
  • [REWORK] The hatch now spawns when 01:30 remains in the round.

BACKPACK & CHESTS

  • Resolved the issue where a player could have an equipped item that did not exist.

  • Resolved the issue where a player could start two tasks at the same time, causing the game to freeze.

    • Special Task: answer the teacher’s question correctly. The correct answers are scattered across the map.

    • [NERF] Slowness effect lasts for 13 seconds (was 18s) and begins fading 6 seconds before it ends (was 8s).
    • [NERF] Auto-deactivation time reduced to 35 seconds (was 60s).
  • [BUFF] Sprint

    • [BUFF] Stamina now regenerates by 1% every 0.1s (was 0.15s).

OTHER CHANGES

  • Avatars & Controls

    • Removed support for R6 avatar type.
    • Disabled Shift Lock for all players.
  • UI / UX

    • Renamed “Supply” to “Equip” for better clarity.
    • Added a “Quick Informations” panel that appears at the beginning of the game. It can be disabled in the settings.
    • Removed several tutorial tips that were no longer relevant.
    • Added sound effects when opening regular (non-exit) doors.
  • Maps & Movement

    • Added teleport zones below each map — if a player spawns under the map, they will now be teleported back instead of dying.
    • Reworked map loading system: now handled server-side instead of locally.
    • Removed door and hatch collisions after they are opened to improve movement flow.
  • Game Acceleration

    • Reworked the round acceleration formula: game speed now equals 2n, where n is the current acceleration level (similar to Tower of Hell logic).
  • Add-Ons

    • Removed all add-ons related to trashcans and chests, as those mechanics have been removed or changed.

    • Resolved an issue that caused player data to fail saving properly in some cases (still under monitoring).

    • Resolved an issue that allowed players to exit the map through the roof due to missing teleporters.

    • Resolved an issue that caused the “Daily Store” label to appear slightly shifted to the left.

WORLD

GAME MODES

    • Players now need to complete 2 tasks (was 4 tasks) and a special task, get the key (was find the key), and escape the map. This adjustment makes the mode more dynamic and less time-consuming while still maintaining a challenge.
  • [NEW] Key Hunt Mode

    • Some doors are locked and require lockpicks to open. Finding the key is significantly harder compared to Task Mode, adding an extra layer of challenge and exploration. The key always spawns in the same location for all players.

INTERACTION

    • [CHANGE] Increased door opening time to 1s (was 0.5s).
    • [NEW] Added an animation during escape.

AFK DETECTOR

  • Added AFK detector system: the AFK check only activates when the game time is accelerated. If a player is inactive for 30 seconds during the round while the time is accelerated, a warning message appears. If the player doesn’t move within the next 15 seconds, they will be marked as AFK and teleported to the lobby.

PERKS

  • [CHANGE] Perks No Longer Available for Purchase with Gems.
  • [CHANGE] Perks Moved from normal Store to Upgrade Market.
  • [NEW] Action Cooldown (paper airplane icon): While active, the player cannot perform any actions, including completing tasks, opening doors, or picking up items.
  • [NEW] Wallhack Vision

    • When activated, the player can see all objectives and tasks through walls for 5 seconds (action cooldown), providing a strategic advantage to quickly locate and complete them.
    • After activation, the perk regenerates in 25 seconds (cooldown), allowing for repeated use to finish objectives faster and more efficiently.
    • The effect works on tasks and all items, except the key.
    • The player can press the action button again to stop the perk’s effect.
  • [REWORK] Honey Trap

    • [BUFF] Increased the player’s slowness effect by 15 points (was 8 points).
    • [BUFF] Increased slowness effect duration to 18 seconds (was 14 seconds).

NOTEBOOK

  • [NEW] Added task descriptions to the notebook.
  • [NEW] Added a characters count tracker.
  • [CHANGE] Updated the notebook UI design.
  • [CHANGE] The notebook now resets after each game, clearing all previously written notes.
  • [CHANGE] Spaces no longer count as characters.
  • [REWORK] The Word Capacity upgrade now updates in real-time, decreasing by 1 for each letter typed.
  • [REMOVE] Removed the Page Length upgrade, which increased the notebook’s length.

REWARDS

  • [NEW] Introduced a new reward mechanic for escaping before other players.

    • 1st escapee receives a x200 win boost
    • 2nd escapee: x150 win boost
    • 3rd escapee: x100 win boost
    • 4th escapee: x75 win boost
    • 5th escapee: x50 win boost
    • All other placements: x25 win boost
      NOTE: Boosts are only fully applied if the server has at least 3 players. If there are fewer than 3 players, the match is marked as Undermatched, and all reward values are multiplied by 0.5.
  • [CHANGE] Backpack: Upon opening a chest, a random reward value is added to the backpack, scaled based on the number of Better Loot upgrades.

    • 75% chance the reward is converted into coins
    • 25% chance it’s converted into gems
    • XP is always awarded (100% chance)

    • Resolved an issue issue that caused settings data to sometimes fail to save or reset unexpectedly.
    • Resolved an issue that caused gamepass data to sometimes fail to save or reset unexpectedly.
    • Resolved an issue that caused addon and upgrade data to sometimes fail to save or reset unexpectedly.
  • Round

    • Resolved all known issues that were preventing players from completing certain tasks.
    • Resolved an issue where a round could start without players if a player reset their character at the exact moment the round began.
    • Resolved an issue that allowed players to enable AFK Mode at the same moment a round started, which prevented them from being teleported back to the lobby after the round ended.
    • Resolved an issue where the map loading animation would sometimes not appear due to a Roblox bug that occasionally prevented toggling the reset button. This caused the system to crash.

    • Resolved an issue affecting the functionality of certain elements in the UI.
  • Shop & Inventory

    • Resolved an issue where item prices would multiply after each purchase.
    • Resolved an issue causing incorrect item rarity assignment.
    • Resolved an issue where the inventory or shop could load before the player’s data store was fully loaded, causing incorrect item information in the inventory or shop.
    • Resolved an issue where players were charged more for upgrades than the displayed amount.
    • Resolved an issue where upgrade values were displayed with excessive decimal places (e.g., 3.000000004).
  • Keys

    • Resolved the issue where the key size varied depending on the player’s body size.
    • Resolved the issue where the key skin was only visible to the player who equipped it, while other players saw the default key skin.
    • Resolved the issue where the key skin would not appear on the map, and the default key skin was shown instead.
  • Perks

    • Resolved an issue that allowed Glue Trap and Honey Trap to be placed in mid-air.
    • Resolved an issue that allowed players to use perks during cooldown.
    • Resolved an issue where players could be slowed multiple times while already slowed by a Honey Trap.
    • Resolved an issue where effects from Glue Trap and Honey Trap (stun or slow) would persist until the end of the round if the trap expired while the player was still affected.

Bug Fixes

  • Trashcans and Keys

    • Fixed a bug that caused an action to be triggered for all users instead of just the one who initiated it. For example, when a user interacted with a trashcan, items were removed for all users rather than just for the one performing the action.

Kill Switch List

  • The “Connecting Cables” task has been temporarily disabled because, for some users, the colors were not displaying correctly.
