The Task:
Hey there, I am looking for a scripter to create a roleplay-based ship vs ship event for my game.
Our aim is to create a cool automated event for general use on servers. In the absence of a mod, there was no possible way to simulate such an event so we have decided to go for an automated approach.
We are able to provide images and models for reference.

This is for a major update in my game ‘Warship RP’ which is the main game in my group ‘Naval Roleplay Community’ with almost 40k members!

Here is a basic draft to give you a general idea:

- countdown gui, 50 minutes until combat
- enemy ship spawns in front of ship, sails towards it
- ‘teleport to combat’ gui appears for those on the specific enemy crew team (gui remains until event is over) teleports them to the enemy ship
- we can get some music playing

- specific team(s) has ability to cancel event (until they leave or someone who also has permissions reverses it) it works as a open/close gui in the same way as the sails. So only one person (of that specific team(s)) can access it at a time.
^then cancelled, it is more like a postponing. It just freezes the countdown. the event cannot be stopped when it has started/is ongoing.

- Enemy ship and friendly ship fire timed shots at each other through particle emitters, etc (so this goes on for awhile and we can include different effects).
- timed models spawn as the event goes on, so for example it would despawn an in-tact mast of the enemy ship and replace it with a broken one
- Timed health bar gui of the enemy ship (decreases on timed increments)

- enemy ship sinking (does not sink all the way, just up to its stern).
- event finishes, enemy ship despawns
- event notifications: text appears at top when event starts, text appears when enemy ship gets close and shots are exchanged, text appears when enemy ship is heavily damaged, text appears when enemy ship offically sinks, text appears when event is over
