The video is able to outline this issue very well. This functionality seems to be broken as it only opens 1 or 2 scripts from inside a batch, missing a lot more. Makes it very hard to read over scripts that have been committed to this draft.
This goes along with this window stealing input, which I have also made a feature request for.
