Unfortunately this user has scammed me.
I commissioned him to do a set of UI’s for my upcoming game. After not completing all of them, and not doing it properly at all he later ghosted me, then removed me without sending some UI’s he was paid for. Aside from this, he failed to meet the date in which they were suppose to be done.
Then, at least you should have offered a refund? If you accepted payment then refused to complete it for being ‘Confusing’, then, I believe it falls under scamming.
I was right about to hire him for a full game ui interface but i read this thank you for informing me and who ever also seen it im sorry he scammed you.
Can you provide more context? Proof? Screenshots of how he interacted with you? Not saying it didn’t happen, but I think some screenshots would help here.
Also, have you taken this up with moderation? If he truly scammed you, there should be consequences.
Shows me stating what is needed to be done, note that I double checked and made sure he can do the task before paying. He claimed he was able to do it all in which I proceeded to pay him via a ROBLOX giftcard
While hiring a UI Designer, you should never pay someone before they have completed the task you have given. Ask them to design the UI you want, show them some example, give them all the information they want, set a price and a deadline date - when you need the UI finished. If they accept, let them design a UI for you first. Keep sending you screenshots & you can give them feedback, with what to improve. Once they are done, ask the UI Designer to show a screenshot of the Explorer and the UI. If everything seems fine, pay him and ask him to send the UI as a model or file.
This will prevent both, the UI Designer and Commissioner from getting scammed. Your big mistake here, is paying him the robux just after confirming that he will design.
