Just a reminder this is still open!

New and updated ticket system! :warning:

I recommend @CheeseRespect2019 If you need a cheap and quality discord bot for your server. :+1:

Couple questions about this service, as a programmer myself.

  • What are you using to host this service?
  • How can your customers be ensured that this bot is 100% secure?
  • If you’re using a VPS/Hosting Provider (AWS, GCP, etc), how are you able to cope with the monthly costs if you’re only charging $.50-2.00 as a one-time payment?
  • More of a fun question, what is this written in?

Other then that, nice product. Hope you do well in the future.

Hey! Thanks for the message.

I’m using heroku, as it’s very affordable. I’ve got several orders meaning that if I need, I can just purchase a plan (not really needed) and they do this amazing offer so that if you register a credit card, you get just the right amount of free monthly dyno hours (on that account) to run it 24/7.

As for security, my reviews should hopefully note to customers that it’s safe and being realistic, I wouldn’t put this much effort in if I were to scam someone.

For the bot, I use the Discord.py module (because javascript is just curly bracket after curly bracket).

Thanks for the enquiry!

Just to add on, I also have a raspberry pi running 24/7 on my desk, so if heroku goes down, it tells my raspberry pi and the bot launches on there, ensuring the bot is always on.

Amazing, AMAZING! I have just had a bot made by PensiveBread for my Discord server. Dealing with Pensive was a smooth experience, there wasnt much hassle/trouble, he was friendly, knew how to treat me well, and was also active, which meant the bot was ready within a few hours!. He had set up Everything as well as a few custom commands of my own.

The bot he made, worked flawlessly, like clockwork. All of the commands (apart from the clear command) were made with no hassle, and with little mistakes. I would HIGHLY reccomend PensiveBread for a custom bot for your server!

Applause for this pal! Very friendly guy and quick to respond.

The quality is on par with expensive competitors! He went above and beyond to ensure quality. The price was much lower than what I expected it to be, and I have had no issues since he made the bot! (besides the kick command that didn’t worked for awhile)

Not only that, his service is very fast. Even with my customization requests (commands), he was quick to respond to it and met my expectations!

Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a quality work and if you’re on a tight budget!

I have a few questions if you don’t mind answering:

  • Are your bots running a process manager in-case they encounter any process-ending errors?
  • Do your bots by-chance support sharding?
  • Do you offer the ability to purchase the actual source code so that end-users may deploy the bot themselves if they would prefer to do so?
  • Does your code handle Discord API throttling well? A typical problem I’ve seen occur with most commissioned bots is that if they are placed in a server that gets flooded by nefarious users, the bot gets hard-throttled and can’t keep up with moderation actions that need to happen immediately to stop said flooding.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Hey!

  • For poing 1 and 4, the bots are designed for small servers. Of course if I got a commission for a larger server, I would add these functions.

  • I currently am not making my source code public as 1) it has many bugs and 2) most users have no knowledge on how to use hosting services.

Thanks for the concern!
