About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Danyil and I’m a Ukrainian Roblox developer with several years of experience. I’d like to share with you my small story of what I’ve been through all this time (and how I was trying to make games that I would like to play later).
Year 2016-2017
I’ve started my roblox dev career at the year 2016 when I tried to build up my first projects that were obviously very hard for me to build, since I knew nothing. The only thing I had was my struggle to make the game of my dream.
After two years of dragging out items from a toolbox to my workspace and combining them into different situations, I’ve hopped into coding and modelling.
Year 2018
By the year 2018 I’ve started my first serious project called Sailing, which was a survival game about travelling on a raft and scavenging islands. The project had some potential but was messed up since my coding skills wasn’t that great at all (a lot of spaghetti code, yup). The game is now frozen and waiting to be reworked in the nearest possible future.
Next project was a game named Factories. The game is about developing your own logistics systems and gather as much resources as possible (probably heard of the game Factorio). The game provided with a good procedural terrain generated and possibly can be used in future development.
Along with this, I’ve also tried implementing “special atmosphere” in my games, that can be shown into my small project Testing Atmosphere Horror Things.
Year 2019
In the 2019 I’ve focused on my new project called Destination. The main idea is a survival-game where players gather items, weapons, food etc. and fight each one.
Year 2020
After this one, I founded my own group Dudes Entertainment and switched to Sci-Fi themed games and tried to make this.
Another kind of Sci-Fi game is my game, inspired by a novel “Dune” (Frank Herbert), which is my last project in the year 2020.
Year 2021
In 2021 I was invited to work in the DropBlox studio. I’ve worked for them for several months and shown great results in completing my work in time and the quality of the code was really good. Here I was working on UI/UX implementation and gameplay programming. After that, project was closed down due to some reasons (game wasn’t playable on youtube so it was hard to find it’s audience).
Year 2024
In the beginning of the year 2024 I was invited to work in the SunBlox studio as a lead developer. During the whole year I was tasked working on a variety of projects which included:
- making morphing systems for characters;
- characters abilities (flying, shooting, attack);
- fighting mechanics with collisions and animations;
- implementing base tycoon functionality (unlocking new features, economics, working with data stores);
- pets system for alike PETS GO!.
Knit was a base for the games that I’ve worked in there, including RbxUtils, Promise, ProfileService and plenty of other third-party modules.
Non-roblox activity:
I’m learning .NET Framework and interested in softwave development in C# as well. Participated in NASA Space Apps Challange 2020. Also made a hyper-casual game “HIKO” for a Tap Nation Game Jam:

I’m a 3D Artist and UI/UX Design Enthusiast and sometimes I spend some time on making low-poly models and pretty interfaces. Here’s a work that I’ve made recently:
Low-poly assets for a floating island
Pickaxe
