Greetings!, I’m Shadow, I have been developing on Roblox since 2019 and I’m an avid scripter. I have launched 2 successful games and I’m currently looking for new opportunities!

(Do note that I do not have much experience in Vehicle or FPS systems since I’ve never had the opportunity to work on such systems, but I’m always eager to learn)

Gotham’s Shadow

These are the most notable game features from my copyrighted game “Gotham’s Shadow” which had over 1M+ visits (paid access) (This project was what I devoted most of my development time to)

Note: every system here is coded by me and me alone, the assets (animations, effects, etc) are made from other developers

User Interface

Movement

Grappling and Gliding:

  • Video Link
  • My proudest work in terms of movement and traversal, the system includes a dynamic ledge detector for Grappling and a smooth transition from and to each state (Grappling, Gliding, Diving)
  • Simulated Gliding physics to make it “feel” good, player’s momentum is retained to make it more impactful
RPG Elements
  • Skill Tree (Video link) - The Skill Tree of the game, includes multiple branches with a custom camera movement (works for Mobile, PC, and Consoles). Very dynamic and scalable

  • I customized @Sol_ttu open-sourced Node Plugin to ensuure it is compatible with my existing SkillTree classes with OOP (Note: The plugin is initially used for dialogue systems)

  • Attributes (Video link) - Attributes that affect and alter the player health, damage, etc. It has a reset feature and is very scalable as other sources can also contribute to the attribute values (Gears, Skills, etc)

Combat

Freeflow Combat (Inspired from the Arkham Series):

  • Video links: Combat 1, Combat 2, Combat 3
  • The combat system includes Parrying, Dodging, Structure bar. Gadgets and Special Skills can also be used upon gaining sufficient Focus Points.
  • It features a dynamic group-controlled AI system that attacks and retreats accordingly (There are 7 classes in total: Fists, Knife, Shield, Electric Baton, Guns, Brutes, Throwables)

Airstrike System: Video - Include Bombing and Strafing Runs, the direction and position is controlled by the player

Misc


A simple daily rewards system


An AFK chamber that gives rewards periodically. There are usage limit per day that resets every 24 hours

Availability

My timezone is GMT+7, I’m currently available to put in 3-5 hours a day on a project for the next 2 months.

Payment

I accept both USD via PayPal and Robux (DevEx rates)
My baseline per task is 50$, willing to do hourly as well.

I will not do % only unless you’re a big studio / game with proved experience and are on the verge of releasing the game. Otherwise I will need a fixed rate, more can be discussed in DMs obviously.
