Hey, I’m Viken!

I’m a programmer in julia, Lua, Python and JavaScript. My current experience ranges since I was 12 years old, and I’m currently 16. Been scripting on Roblox for roughly 3 years and learned a pretty good amount within that time. Quarantine got me grinding on my skills.

I hope you enjoy watching what you see as I enjoyed scripting them

Text Glitcher - For text glitching using Tweens

I can script literally anything. My limits are at abilities, very complex math and Roblox physics. I can still manage with those, but at some point it gets frustrating and wouldn’t look nice.

My availability depends on my school work on that specific day. I would for sure move some time for your commission to complete it as soon as I can. I can spend up to around 4 hours+ per week on your commission.

Payment must be proper with the demanded task. I’m very flexible with payment so hit me up on that. But I might require a portion of payment beforehand.
I may take percentage if it’s also provided with payment.

Terms & Conditions

• No refunds will be given out. You hire me, I do what you ask without take backs. Ensure you have a solid plan before requesting anything.
• I have the right to deny any request.
• I have the right to cancel the commission if the tasks given keep coming without previous notice, or the price lowers leading to an unbalance with the payment.
• If the requested script randomly stops working, or has any flaws, I would take a look at it without any extra charge whenever I have time to do so. If it’s something you messed up/broke, then I may add a fee for my service.
• Good communication throughout the team and I is essential.
• Meanwhile or beforehand hiring me, you must have the tasks prepared for me to implement (be VERY detailed) as well as the payment. I could wait up to 7 days from the day the commission was completed for the pay.
• Development environment including community would and must not be toxic towards me. I have all rights to pull out of the commission due to treatment. EG: No Racism, no slurs, LGBTQ+ accepting, etc…

Alright gotta be honest here.

I vouch 100 percent. This man is insanely talented for how long he’s been scripting. He’s super communicative and overall fun to work with. He’s an all-around good person and really shows it when talking with him. He’s on time with his work, which is fast, he’s always willing to learn new aspects of scripting to make his portfolio and possibilities bigger, and really puts passion into his scripting.

Great Scripter!

…but only when he actually decides to work.

When I came across his portfolio, I was really excited to get in touch and have him do some important scripting for me. I was pleased to see all these vouches and was hoping I’d also be one to say “I’d vouch” to help him be able to get more jobs as a dev as I love supporting other developers.
I came to him with great detail about what I was in need of, and was willing to pay half up front as to respect his terms & conditions. He was kind enough to say I didn’t have to pay upfront, but my offer still stood.

He’s a great scripter, exceeded my expectations in the quality of the script that was somewhat completed in a few days. I tend to pay extra Robux to my developers who complete their tasks quickly and exceeds my expectations as a bonus/reward to show my appreciation of hard work and to encourage them to continue to do so. I wanted to do the same with Viken despite him being kind to lower the price.

However… I noticed problems appearing when I started getting close to a deadline with my game.

Good communication throughout the team and I is essential.

Firstly, communication with my devs is very crucial to me. I like for my devs to give me regular updates on how their task is going so I know they are actually working. When my devs don’t give me updates, I often as how they are doing; not just dev-wise, but just to make sure they themselves are doing okay as I do care about my staff. I’d absolutely hate to accidentally overwork a staff as they are going through some tough times, just because there was a lack of communication. I do understand my staff has outside lives, and I’m willing to give them a break when they need it. I frequently ask to see how Viken is doing, whether it be dev-related or not, or when I haven’t gotten an update from him in a while. The communication I received back was… quite poor. I often got “oh” and “okay” as answers, and never got a clear answer as to why he hasn’t gotten any work done with my commission.
Secondly, adding to poor communication, he didn’t give me many updates on how the task is going as well. I’ve been working hard with my own commissions to raise funds to pay my devs the right amount they deserve as I don’t like to underpay, but I felt stressed knowing my scripter wasn’t doing any work as I myself off, notwithstanding the fact I had a huge game deadline I had to meet for my players. I eventually felt like I was being annoying for always asking how it’s going with the task and that, and lo and behold… he hasn’t worked on the game in a whole month.

Wish this was true in my case, but according to the last time my game was updated by him, was a month ago. Not even one hour for a whole month has been spent regarding my commission.

Because of poor communication, I didn’t know if I did something wrong, or if payment was too little despite me always willing to pay more if needed.
I was even willing to pay more just to get him to continue to work Anyways, with him not being able to complete all of my tasks, on time, I had to abandon some ideas I wanted to be implemented into my game.

So, in summary, Viken is a really great scripter, but only when he wants to work. I do recommend him as a short-term scripter, but I can’t say the same if you have a huge game update you’re in need of releasing.
