Opening ''cutscene'' feedback, How do I improve?

Hello!

So, Ive been practicing making something for a game im working on, and wanted to share it.
I’d love to hear some feedback on things I could improve!

(Also, I know the game version is very dark for some people, I’m still figuring out how I can make it kind of look the same no matter what monitor you are playing on, since thats one of my main issues rn.)

Heres the ‘‘game’’ version:

And heres the studio version, without graphics:

Im kind of new to animating objects, so some tips or tricks would be appreciated!

well, im not really experienced with cutscenes but what i could say to help is
(feedback incoming)

  • Firstly, the credits which i saw “in production by” was kinda hidden, i don’t know if its intentional or not but that is probably one of the problems since credits should be easily understood.

  • Second, is that most opening cutscenes tend to fit in the style of the overall story or smth, but its okay for it to not be.

  • Third, Another thing is that a cutscene could be memorable and/or captures the viewers attention “take for example the opening cutscene of shapes and beats” which yours already is.

  • Fourth, most of the scenes were a bit empty, maybe add a bit of effects like electricity sparks or broken down trusses

Overall, the cutscene is very great already even without adding some of these changes, anyway in conclusion. Credits should be easy to see, Opening Cutscenes should fit in the style of the game but its up to you to change that, Cutscenes should be memorable for it to have impact on the game, Make use of empty spaces, but it depends.

one thing, you could also try to optimize it for less lag, but overall the cutscene truly is ABSOLUTE CINEMA
