Since yesterday (Thursday, October 16, 2025), Roblox on PCVR has become nearly unplayable due to a severe bug causing a noticeable delay in headset orientation. This delay can be extremely disorienting and even nauseating at times. Unfortunately, the issue cannot be captured through standard screen recordings, as the delay does not appear on the flat display.
Additionally, the flat screen display remains completely black at all times, making it impossible to view or record normal Roblox gameplay from the desktop.
Many users have already reported experiencing this problem, and I’m concerned that it can cause severe motion sickness if not addressed soon.
Expected behavior
I kindly ask the engineering team to prioritize a fix for this issue at their earliest convenience.
Restarting the device does not help, neither does restarting the pc. It is only a PCVR issue and many people have been dealing with it for the past 5 days, it is global. I’m not sure about Vive headsets but all quest users with a link cable have been affected by this
I have tried downgrading the current version of the roblox client but no luck either.
tried playing yesterday, it was okay’ish with ALVR. yes, i did have hiccups while turning head around. it was fine. on pico connect the issue was much worse though.
we have to wait for next weekly update, which is 2 days from now.
